We’re proud to share some fantastic news from PCFA. Coach Tomasz has successfully completed his UEFA C qualification, adding another recognised coaching award to our club and continuing our commitment to high standards in grassroots football.

For our players and families, this is more than just a certificate. It reflects the work happening behind the scenes to make sure children at PCFA receive the best possible coaching experience in a positive, structured, and enjoyable environment.

What Is the UEFA C Qualification?

The UEFA C qualification is a respected coaching award designed to help coaches develop young players in the right way.

It focuses on areas such as:

  • Age-appropriate coaching methods

  • Technical player development

  • Creating enjoyable training sessions

  • Matchday support and decision-making

  • Building confidence in young players

  • Safe and inclusive football environments

In simple terms, it helps coaches deliver sessions that are fun, organised, and effective for children at different stages of their football journey.

What This Means for PCFA Players

At PCFA, player development always comes first. Coach education plays a big part in that.

Coach Tomasz completing the UEFA C qualification means our players continue to benefit from:

Better Training Sessions

Training sessions designed with clear purpose, structure, and progression to help players improve week by week.

Modern Coaching Methods

Up-to-date ideas and practices that support learning, confidence, and long-term development.

Positive Learning Environment

Encouragement, support, and challenge in the right balance so children can enjoy football while improving.

Individual Development

Helping each player grow at their own pace, whether they are new to the game or already experienced.

Why Coaching Qualifications Matter

Parents want to know their child is in good hands. That’s why coach development matters so much. Meet our coaching team.

A qualified coach brings more than football knowledge. They bring planning, communication skills, understanding of child development, and the ability to create the right environment for young players to thrive.

At PCFA, we believe children deserve quality coaching at grassroots level.

This achievement is also a reflection of what we want PCFA to be as a club.

We aim to provide:

  • High standards of coaching

  • A welcoming community environment

  • Clear player pathways

  • Enjoyable football experiences

  • Continuous improvement on and off the pitch

We are always looking for ways to improve what we offer to our players and families.
